North Little Rock Wastewater
Per Ordinance 9432 passed by North Little Rock City Council in 2022, our rates will increase effective January 1, 2025. The average residential customer is predicted to see about a $2.42 increase in their monthly bill. The additional funds will allow us to continue improving our system and providing quality wastewater service.
North Little Rock Wastewater is the state’s largest regional wastewater provider, serving North Little Rock, Maumelle, Sherwood, and parts of Pulaski County. With 715 miles of sewer lines, 72 pumping stations, and four treatment plants, NLRW treats 30.6 million gallons per day on average and 77 million gallons per day during peak flows.
The mission of North Little Rock Wastewater is to provide safe, low cost, high quality sanitary sewer service to the citizens of North Little Rock, Maumelle, portions of Sherwood, and other areas as directed.
The Utility, through its planning, will also support the orderly growth of the community with the overall objective of preserving the health and well-being of the citizens and the environment.
