Ed Nelson, Committee Member

Edward Nelson has lived in the North Little Rock area for almost 50 years. He came to Arkansas assigned to LRAFB as a missile launch officer with the 308th Strategic Missile Wing (Titan II missiles). After the AF, Ed graduated from UALR Law School and worked as a staff attorney for Arkansas state government for 28 years. He also served Pulaski Technical College (NLR) as an adjunct instructor and as the college’s Director of Government Relations for almost 10 years. Mr. Nelson has served on the Wastewater Committee for many years, including a stint as committee chairman. He was recently reappointed in 2022 and now chairs the Wastewater Utility’s retirement committee.
