Starting Salary: $19.56/hour
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to be trained to repair and maintain pumps and related equipment
- Will be ‘on call’ weekends and holidays when required
- Ability to operate hand and light powered tools
- Ability to drive
- Mechanic experience a plus
- At least 18 years of age
- Must be able to complete Class 1 Operators Course and pass state exam
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Arkansas driver's license

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow instructions of the Plant Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Mechanic II
- Review SCADA system daily for problems
- Check, clean, and perform minor maintenance on all pumping facilities to ensure optimum operation
- Assist Maintenance Mechanic II in performing complex repairs and installation of pumps and other related mechanical equipment
- Perform routine maintenance functions and housekeeping duties at the pump stations
- Always comply with safety procedures and guidelines
- Clean tools and return them to their proper place
- Perform any reasonable request that is good for the community and North Little Rock Wastewater
- Drives wrecker to pull pumps and remove debris as necessary
